George Kouroupas, with all his surrealistic influences, paints and seeks more the cognitive and lessresponse to visual stimulation. Furthermore shifts in his work features to his second talent: the one of the set designer. Thus, his creations act as a cosmic space, a metaphorical reference to a scene of a science fiction movie. Looking at the paintining "Xenos" there is a transfer at the end of the Kostouritsa's film "Underground" where a piece of land detached and floats isolated along with the band. This is exactly the piece of Kouroupas land (cutted and disappeared from his mind?) travels in the vast universe, bearing his peculiar roots.
