3rd World

Thirld world. A phrase that always makes me think the level of stupidity the media all over the world can manipulate all of us and an example of our unconciousness regarding our brothers and our sisters. Can anybody from the media world tell me sincerely what do they mean by saying third world?? What is the criteria for this ?
Where is the first and the second world?? if there is a third there must be somewhere the first and the second. Please define it, I really need that, for my vocabulary. Can it be defined in space terms for example? If I remember correctly thirld world conditions have been mentioned during the disastrous New Orleans flood. To tell you the truth even though that U.S.A. is the most powerfull country on this planet after seeing what was their official state reaction on this disaster made me think that 3rd world is not space defined. The fact that most of the souls that piled up in the SUPERDOME stadium were black people made me think if 3rd world is human coloured defined. But then again it cannot be human coloured defined because all colours today experience 3rd world conditions. Probably has to do with money. Or the before mentioned definables (place and colour) are infuencing to lead to a 3rd world condition in conjuction with money.
So 3rd world is the status of a person or a group of persons where there is no hope for a better life, there is no respect at anything living not even self respect. 3rd world is a living hell. 3rd world is a step before 4rth.
